Bushnell and I are the same age, we took different paths in life and moved through Manhattan in totally different ways. I recently went to see Candace Bushnell at Café Carlyle, the New York icon’s one-woman show where she recalled the story of her life and career, and calls to mind the New York of yesteryear that was actually worth writing about.Įven though Ms. ![]() I got a glimpse of the road less traveled and am glad I didn’t take it. ![]()
